Task Based Functions
Task Overview
In the left area, a tabular view of your tasks is provided. This can be sorted by the individual columns. For filtering of the tasks and for the column options, see chapter Filter and Column Options under Main Functions.

In the Assigned to column, you can change assignments directly by clicking on the assigned user and, if necessary, enter some digits of the desired user name to narrow the search, then select the desired user.

Tasks you are not responsible yet, can be assigned to yourself by clicking on the
icon, and conversely, you can unassign yourself by clicking on the
icon.
Task View
On the right side, details and various functions for the selected task are displayed. The details vary depending on the type of task.

Task Functions
Status
Here you have the option to change the processing status for tasks that are assigned to you. Changing the state to Approved requires the role Approving Person.

Tasks in the status Released can no longer be edited, but can only be reset to New by an authorised user (users with role Approving Person).
Please note: All tasks related to this task that are also in the Approved status will be reset to the In Review status.
Assignment
You can change the assignment of the task to a user similar to the task overview.
Show Change History
Via the icon
you can display the change history of a task.

Show Approval Steps
In addition to the change history, it is also possible to display the approval steps of a task. In contrast to the change history, not all changes are tracked here, but only those that lead to the current status. This means that approval steps that have already been completed are simply deleted if you go back to a previous step.

Delete Task
Via the icon
manually created tasks (e.g. requirements) can be deleted as long as they have not yet been released.
Generate and Download Report
Using the
icon you can download and save a report (including approval steps) in PDF format for the currently selected task.
Undo
By clicking the
icon you can undo your unsaved changes in the respective task.
Save
Saves your changes in the currently selected task.

Relations
Predefined Relations
In addition to the links to other tasks that can be created manually under Links, some tasks already have predefined links to frequently referenced documents. These can not be edited.
Define your own Relations

The Add Link button opens a window in which you can link the selected task with existing tasks. Select the link type (child, parent, predecessor, successor, related) and search for the task to be linked by entering the task number or title in the appropriate field. Then you can add a comment to the link.

In addition to linking existing tasks, this function can also be used to create new tasks, which are then directly linked. For more information on creating tasks, see Create and Link Tasks.
Comments
You have the option of adding comments to your tasks. Older comments are displayed as a history.
